Due to different definitions used in disaster-related literature, for the purpose of CARISMAND Toolkit the main terms used are defined in a special Glossary Section. It reflects both the needs of the Recommendations' Section and the Cultural Map and can be reached through both platforms.
It covers the CARISMAND Team understanding of hazards, disaster phases, actors concerned in the disaster processes, what cultural factors might be and also explaining the different cultural factors identified during the project lifetime.
